When hearing of USA Cycling's lack of funds to fully support a team for
the mountain bike World Championships, Sho-Air/Cannondale's Scott Tedro,
who does not have a rider headed to the Worlds, set up a fund to raise
money for USA Cycling to use to get riders to the Worlds. The fund has raised over $18,000 in two days. Although the fund has met its goal, Scott reported Sunday night that they will keep the fund open at least through Wednesday in case you missed the chance to help out. We've seen motocross stars, mountain bike legends and High
School League racers all kick in. Every donation helps.
Mountain Bike Action will stay on top of the story and explain exactly how every penny of the fund is allocated so you can see how your donations helped the riders.
