VP Components and The Dirt Club in Los Olivos, California have teamed up to host their second Enduro Race taking place next Saturday, November 3rd. Enduro races have been common in Europe for about a decade now but their popularity has exploded just within the last few years in the states as many have found them to be the most accessible and enjoyable way to race their mountain bike. If you live in Southern California and have been curious about racing an Enduro, this is a perfect opportunity to get your feet wet

From the Dirt Club:
The Fall of The Enduro will be an awesome and exciting test of speed, skill and endurance for mountain bike enthusiasts of all levels. This second event grows out of the success of the VP Components Dirt Club Enduro held last July. We are proud to say that we did such a great job with the first race that the riders demanded a fall event too! Athletes will prove their skill and speed on the bike through 9 special stages while enduring a 3hr day in the saddle. The format follows that of WRC auto racing and European style MTB Enduro events. After the event, we will host a party with tri-tip grilled on site for purchase, music, and a screening of a great MTB movie under the stars.

About the Dirt Club:
A Private location for mountain biking enthusiasts to enjoy their healthy lifestyle sport in a safe location completely removed from other trail users, this is to be a 100% conflict free riding area. With 2 different downhill trails, one super downhill trail, a dual slalom course, a 12 mile cross country course, and miles of dirt double track ranching roads, countless opportunities are provided for riders of all abilities to explore and have fun.  This venue has hosted various MTB races the past 12 years, it’s time that we open it up, but we have to pay for it’s use, in order to do so we’ve developed the plan to sell memberships and to charge inexpensive gate fees to non-members.
