We were shooting photos with Brett Tippie and Moe Hutchison on Whistler
Mountain last summer when Brett started whispering to us in an excited way.
Brett doesn't usually whisper, and we were kind of far away from him at
the time, but we finally figured out what he was saying, so we turned
around and saw this young deer crossing the fire road about 40 feet behind us.
We didn't even know they had deer at Whistler before this happened. We
took a few quick photos of him before he disappeared into the woods. This
picture may seem to have little to do with our sport, but it helped remind
us one more time of how cool mountain biking is.
