There's been much debate about whether neck braces are a beneficial piece of protective equipment for riders. While we're skeptical of numbers and graphs that come straight from the company about the benefits to riders, we're always glad to know that they're doing their research.

The wrecking crew at MBA has been using neck braces from Leatt and other manufacturers for years. During that period, we've had a few crashes that resulted in a cracked brace and no injury to the rider. While we would never make a claim that the neck brace prevented a catastrophic injury, we can't say we're not happy with the results. In this video, Phil Davy of Leatt Brace talks riders to inform them about this increasingly popular product, and allow them to make the decision for themselves.
