Most of our best rides are the ones that take us deep into the woods. The wind elicits a chorus from the pine needles and the rain finds the tree cover nearly impenetrable. It is under this big top that riding magic happens. These Trail Mix photos from riders like you capture the essence of deep forest exploration.

Had the opportunity to fly some clients to New Zealand. We found this reflecting pond and it offered the perfect place for a photo op. Actually; the whole place was a photo op. This is David Parsons in the Wakarewarewa Forest.
This is my best friend of 16-plus years riding some local trails at Eastfork State Park in Ohio.
With an average of 150 inches of rain a year in Humboldt County, getting out for a quick ride is tough. My friend Devon Harlan took this picture of me riding one of the trails. The Arcata area and north along Highway 101 is known for some of the best, and most beautiful singletrack in Northern California.
My fianc, Heath, riding at Blankets Creek in Woodstock, Georgia. It is gorgeous!
Charlotte, North Carolina
This is me riding the Kanata Lakes Trails in Ottawa Ontario. This great little trail system has recently been destroyed in part for new housing developments and roadways….sad face. See you on the trails!

Riding the trails at Deer Valley Resort. Thick Aspen, rolling singletrack, and miles of trail to ride. What better way can you spend the day?
Salt Lake City, Utah
ABOVE THE COVER
My new backyard. Just two miles from my family’s vacation home is the Western Slope of “Big Rock Trail” in DuPont State Forest, North Carolina. This place is a little slice of heaven!
Coed y Brenein in Wales is the premier mountain biking place in the UK. This long slog yields a great downhill off Hermon. It’s fast and furious and lots of fun. Well worth a visit if you travel across the pond
Manchester, United Kingdom
