DAKOTAH NORTON AND NINA HOFFMAN EACH WIN $15,000 IN FOX US OPEN—SEPTEMBER 2022

Dakotah Norton and Nina Hoffman took the wins in the Men’s Open and Women’s Open of downhill at the Fox US Open this weekend in Killington, Vermont. Each of them earned $15,000 for their wins. Second-place finishers in both classes took home $7500; third place, $3750; fourth place, $1875; and fifth place, $950.

In the Dual Slalom event, Joey Foresta and Jill Kintner took the wins.

Here’s how Fox describes the event:

“The Fox US Open of Mountain Biking was established in 2003 with the single goal of creating excitement in the American mountain bike scene. Featuring a unique Open Pro/Am format, the Fox US Open offers the most challenging competition in the nation, setting the standard as a proving ground for up-and-coming and elite athletes alike. We offer a full slate of Amateur classes. Anyone can enter the Open Class and compete against the pros to prove where they rank and take a piece of the massive cash purse – $15,000 for the top step of the Open Class Downhill on both the men’s and women’s side!
