TINKER JUAREZ GETS BACK TO HIS HIGH-FLYING AERIAL ROOTS

Tinker Juarez is now 62, but he still rides like a kid

In the late 1970s, Tinker Juarez was sometimes called “The King of the Skateparks” for his aerial skills in the concrete playgrounds of Southern California. Tinker, now 62, was preparing for one of his pro-XC races recently when he went back to his aerial roots for a few minutes. Tinker told his friends on Facebook: “I did a couple laps at Temecula and I was eyeing 🧐the pump track during my training ride.” His friend Ed Kocina took these pictures of Tinker on the pump track. Tinker told his Facebook friends, “It didn’t take long at all to refresh my memory and I was happy I did it.”
