Only one American pro cross-country racer is able to consistently make the podium at the World Cup level: GTs Alison Dunlap. As a result, we?d expect that GT goes to extra lengths to make sure that her bike is equipped to work as well as possible while weighing as little as possible. So how is her bike set up? We shot some photos of her race bike shortly before her race at Napa to see what was on her bike and what made it special.

Here are the details:
1. GT i-Drive Race, small frame, standard production model, except for extra-light, custom-made i-Drive eccentric mechanism designed to reduce weigh even further.
2. Integrated Cane Creek headset.
3. SID Dual Air shock with remote lock-out lever on the handlebar, three inches rear wheel travel.

4. SID Black Box Dual Air fork with lock-out and 65mm travel.
5. XTR components, with 44-tooth Deore XT big ring, 36-tooth XTR middle ring, and 24-tooth Syncros granny gear; plus 12-34 XTR titanium rear cassette.
6. Azonic handlebar and stem. Bar is 52 cm wide (20.5 inches).
7. Time pedals.
8. Maxxis Minotaur front tire; 1.9 inches; 430 grams. Maxxis Minotaur 1.9-inch rear tire, run in reversed position for better traction in mud.
