Are you looking for full-finger protection with total freedom of movement? The Impact has moderate palm padding, with mesh and a sweat patch covering the back of the hand.
Key features: Palm protection is provided by coating the full underside of the palm with supple Clarino. The grab spots on the undersides of the knuckles are coated in an extra layer of non-padded Clarino. A modest pad is added to cover the outer, heel area of the palm. Lycra is used on the sides of the fingers and provides a tight form-fit. The top of the Impact uses a stretchable spandex material. A generous sweep of terry cloth covers the outer thumb and curves up and around the top, inner quarter of the Impact. Available colors are red, blue and black.
MBA rating: Five stars. Answer put a lot of thought into the design of the Impact. It fits snugly. We liked the unpadded, non-bunchy feel on the grip. Padding the outer palm offsets the beating that the palm-to-thumb area receives riding off road, which means you can relax your grip a little.
