TIME FOR NEW KICKS

Question:

I have owned the same pair of clip-in shoes for about 10 years now, and they are starting to break down. I have come to the conclusion that it is time to retire those shoes and get some fresh ones. What do you guys recommend as a good all-around clipless shoe?

Answer:

Sounds like those shoes served their purpose. We would be happy to give you a recommendation. As a matter of fact, we just tested Giro’s new Ventana shoe. The shoes aren’t too costly and definitely offer a good bang for your buck. Giro offers these shoes in two options, one with a BOA lace ($180) and one with pull-to-lace ($130). If you are searching for a good all-around clipless shoe, the Ventana might be a good option for you.
