CHRISTOPHER BLEVINS REVEALS WHY HE DIDN’T COMPETE IN THE MONT-SAINTE-ANNE WORLD CUP

He still plans to race the World Championships, though

If anybody wondered what happened to Christopher Blevins in the World Cup event at Mont-Sainte-Anne this past weekend, the word is out. Blevins shared on his Instagram page that he has—if we understand his post correctly—tested positive for Covid-19 , but he still expects to be able to race in the World Championships, which takes place August 24-28, in Les Gets, France, with the final World Cup of the year taking place at Val di Sole, Italy the following weekend, September 2-4.

Well, it’s my turn I guess. I woke up with some symptoms and then got the two red lines. It goes without saying, but I’m real dissapointed  [sic] I won’t be racing tonight. This sport is a rollercoaster, and you just have to embrace it and love it for the ups and downs.
