FIRST LOOK: NORCO UNVEILS THE NEW FLUID VLT

Norco has announced their all-new Fluid VLT lightweight e-bike after a preview campaign shrouded in secrecy. With the rapid evolution of the E-MTB market and the emergence of distinct categories to meet different riders, bikes with a very similar feel to their non-electric counterparts are growing in popularity. Norco is answering this call with the new Fluid VLT, built around a complete Bosch ecosystem and their all-new Performance Line SX drive unit.

The new Fluid VLT will feature either 130/140mm or 140/150mm of suspension travel via Norco’s Ride Aligned Design System, making this a capable all-mountain machine. Dedicated mixed wheels (29″/27.5″) across all sizes, 55Nm of torque, and up to 600w of customizable power will make this a versatile and playful lightweight e-bike.

With the 400Wh PowerTube battery included, the wireless Bosch Performance Line SX system is claimed to weigh just under 9 pounds, meaning the stock Fluid VLT weighs in at 38-40 pounds.

There will be 4 Fluid VLT models, with the C1 frame featuring carbon front and rear triangles and the C2/C3 frames featuring an aluminum rear triangle. All models are expected to arrive in Spring 2024, with full details emerging on the Norco website.
