FIRST LOOK: SHIMANO ULTREAD AND MOUNTAIN BIKE FOOTWEAR
Shimano releases ULTREAD sole technology and updates its XC, all-mountain, and gravity shoes.
Shimano has released its new footwear technology and updated models for 2022. All of these next generation shoes feature its new ULTREAD sole technology that is deigned to increase grip and durability while reducing weight at the same time. Its new XC9, XC7, and XC5 lineup benefit from this new technology and so does its new GR903 flat-sole gravity shoe. Shimano is also refining its all-mountain and enduro shoe range with a redesigned AM9 and AM3. Both shoes feature a new rubber compound, protection features and updated last. Expect these shoes to land in shops around November or December of this year. See below for all the details.
