FIRST LOOK: YETI INTRODUCES THE SB120 LUNCH RIDE

(YETI PRESS RELEASE)

Known for its chunky, white-knuckle descents, Yeti’s backyard trail network, demands more. But its formidable climbs tempt Yeti’s race-bred staffers to do more with less. The “Lunch Ride” build was born here, to make Yeti’s most summit thirsty bikes faster in the fun direction.

There’s perhaps no model better suited for the Lunch Ride treatment than Yeti’s new definition ready SB120. With the efficiency of an XC bike and stability to send, the SB120 is a short travel weapon ready for more – so that’s what it got.

RockShox Suspension – Not just more travel … more capable travel. SB120 Lunch Ride was the ideal project to re-spark a partnership with the neighbors down south. The RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock and Pike Ultimate fork complement the bike’s brash intent perfectly. The 120LR still has 120 millimeters of rear travel but gets improved damping performance and heat management from a Super Deluxe Ultimate shock. A ButterCups-smooth Pike Ultimate fork suspends the front end and travel is increased by 10 millimeters to 140mm.

SRAM Code RSC Brakes – More powerful brakes don’t just slow you down, they make you quicker. Let it hang out until the very last moment before shutting it down with SRAM’s strongest stoppers mounted to 200mm front and 180mm rear rotors.
