2021 Haibike ALL Mtn 7 Trail Bike

By Tony Donaldson

Haibike officially announces their new Yamaha PW-X2-powered All Mtn 7. It’s an all-new design, with a carbon fiber frame, Fox Float suspension and Shimano XT drivetrain and brakes at a good price.

It has 160mm of travel, front and rear, and a 29″ wheel up front and 27.5″ rear. Haibike have pushed their geometry forward significantly. Increasing the seat tube angle to 76.3 degrees will give greater uphill climbing comfort. They also lengthened the reach to 461mm (large) which means stability and space on fast descents.

The battery is new for Yamaha, a big 600Wh battery that’s integrated into the down tube.  The PW-X2 motor is the new generation that features 80Nm of torque, support for much higher cadence, and a new automatic mode that seamlessly shifts between modes based on rider input torque. We’ve spent time on that setting, and we like it a lot. It’s similar to Bosch’s eMTB mode, but it’s located outside of Yamaha’s other modes, so riders still have the option of all the traditional modes, from Eco to EX-PW.

WHO IT’S MADE FOR
