Getting Rowdy in New England

Nicholi Rogatkin, off-axis spin to take the silver medal.

You’re likely familiar with the big mountain bike events that happen each year in Whistler, Canada; Rotorua, New Zealand; and Innsbruck, Austria. Those competitions draw thousands of people and get tons of attention all over the world—and now the United States has an elite international slopestyle contest of its own: The Fox US Open CLIF Slopestyle.

Slopestyle action returned to the USA for the first time since the last round of the Colorado Freeride Festival’s last stop in 2017 and to Highland Mountain Bike Park for the first time in 7 years, when the last Claymore Challenge took place—and the riding was top-notch.

Mountain Bike Action is a monthly magazine devoted to all things mountain biking (yes, that’s 12 times a year because we never take a month off of mountain biking). It has been around since 1986 and we’re still having fun. Start a subscription by clicking here or calling (800) 767-0345.
