JUNIOR RIDER OF THE WEEK: CAILE NOBLE

Straight out of Valencia, California is downhiller Caile Noble. The 17-year-old rider attends Valencia High and maintains a 3.0 GPA. His biggest school achievement was just last week, putting on a dirt jumping contest on Friday afternoon. Caile said his ASP director wanted to target students who were not so involved in school, so Caile proposed a Dirt Jumping Jam. It went through, and all students with a 3.0 GPA or better or perfect attendance so far were invited out to the football field to watch six invited dirt jumpers (all students of the school) go at it.
Besides dirt jumping, Caile’s real specialty is downhill mountain biking. Caile is a junior expert racer in his second season. Last year in his first ever downhill race, he won the junior expert class at Sea Otter and then later took fifth at the Big Bear, California, NORBA National in the Jr. Ex. Class. Caile will go to the USA Cycling Training Center the week after the Big Bear NORBA National this year.
Caile is an MBA test rider and is sponsored by Specialized (frame sponsor), Troy Lee Designs, Manitou, Dragon, SRAM, Profile Racing, Hayes, MRP, Atomic Laboratories, Renthal, Tioga, Thomson, Chris King and E-Caps/Hammer Gel Nutrition.
His goals are to be a pro downhiller and graduate from USC with a business degree and then one day own his own business that has to do with bike industry
Caile said he would like to dedicate this season to Dan Gerardi and thank him for all the help and support he received as a member of Team Danger Unlimited last year and to Troy Lee and Mike Redding. Without them it wouldn?t have been possible.
