Kenda had a couple new cross-country tires on display at Interbike 2018 along with some new purpose designed compounds. New for this year Kenda will be offering 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6 widths on 27.5 and 29-inch diameters. For 2019 Kenda moved to simplify their choices of tires casings with three different; AGC, AEC, and ATC.
AGC is the gravity orientated compound that is high grip for downhill racing and riding. The casing is burlier for more protection and stiffer tire.
AEC was designed for more Enduro riding with a firmer compound and a slightly lighter casing than the AGC.
For trail riding is the ATC version that is more durable and lighter.
Kenda was showing two new cross-country tires including the Regolith with a more aggressive tread. The Regolith will be available in 27.5 and 29-inch with 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6 widths.
Taking the over as their go-to XC race is the new Booster with an aggressive tread pattern. The Booster will ve available in 27.5 and 29-inch diameters with 2.2, 2.4, and 2.6 widths.
