At Kogel Bearings , we believe ceramic bearings set the gold standard for your bicycle bottom bracket, derailleur pulleys and wheel bearings.  The Silicon Nitride used to make ceramic bearings combines a set of material properties that make it perfect for bicycle bearings.

The material is hard, resistant to wear, can be made into perfectly round balls with super tight tolerances and can be polished smoother than any metal. On top of all that, ceramic bearings do not rust or oxidize.

Upgrading to a ceramic bottom bracket with coated bearings, gives your bike reduced friction and better protection from nature’s elements.

Kogel Bearings offers high-quality ceramic bottom brackets for your road, mountain, or cross bike.

We’ve perfected ceramic bearing selection, manufacturing processes, fit and assembly. The result: extremely reliable and efficient bottom brackets with tight variances and industry-leading durability.

Kogel Bearings is the gold standard for podium-grade ceramic bicycle bearings around the world.

Looking to upgrade or replace worn-out pulleys? Our ceramic derailleur pulleys can help breath new life and improved performance into your rear derailleur.

Kogel Bearings offer options for just about any type of rear derailleurs from Shimano, Campagnolo, and SRAM.

Our ceramic derailleur pulleys run on the same trusted ceramic bearings that we use in our bottom brackets. Using aluminum instead of plastics for the wheels makes them durable, especially for off road use.

Heard about our “Not For Instagram” ceramic derailleur pulleys? These pulleys use full ceramic bearings and seem to free spin forever…well beyond the 15 sec allowed in our Instagram feed. Why, because these bearings contain no metal parts and run without grease.

We also sell 11 tooth pulleys for Shimano, Sram and Campagnolo 11 speed that can be used on road and mountain bike derailleurs.

The road seal version runs with minimal contact seals to achieve the lowest friction we can make while maintaining our 1+1 year warranty.

While our cross seal versions are built for leaving the beaten path, for riders that live for Rule #9. Cross seal version offer the best durability, regardless of the weather conditions

Running SRAM Eagle or X-Horizon on your mountain bike? Our Narrow wide pulleys are optimized for off road use and feature aluminum wheels with ceramic bearings.

This configuration pays off especially when the going gets tough in a muddy XC race or when the cyclocross course is ankle deep.

We tested during the Belgian Superprestige races and captured back-to-back victories in the Dirty Kanza 200.

We think you’ll agree, our narrow wide pulleys are built to last while giving you a low friction solution for race day.

Our ceramic derailleur pulleys feature:

  • Road and off-road specific seal options to keep your road, triathlon, TT, cross and mountain, and e-bike drivetrain running smoothly
  • Designed to work with our existing rear derailleur cage
  • Easy to install
