The 22L version gives access to the main compartment via a zipper while the 30L option uses a top lid opening that buckles down for access to your gear. These packs may not be exactly ideal for most mountain bike uses, but for bike packing or long epic days in the saddle, these might be exactly what is called for. A couple of little extra features these packs include are a helmet carrying system, axe and trekking poles attachment system, and 2 quick mesh side pockets.
