Leatherman Tools began back in 1975 when Tim Leatherman and his wife took a trip abroad only to run into a series of mechanical issues with their not-so-trusty Fiat. Tim soon came up with the idea to create a pair of pliers combined with a knife, which he would later call a multi-tool.
The Skeletool is a new compact design from Leatherman that combines seven tools into one. It features a knife, pliers, wire cutters, a bit driver, a carbine/bottle opener and more.
