Outside of a high-speed and treacherous downhill setting, they provide plenty of protection in the event you decide to go from riding your bike to doing a handstand down the trail. Handup gloves are lightweight, yet still have a Clarino leather palm and silicone printed graphics to deliver plenty of grip without losing the feeling of a direct connection to your bike. They have a stretch cuff that eliminates the need for a bulky strap, while a sweat-wicking fabric is attached to the thumb for wiping sweat and gunk away on the toughest of days. They’re available in six different colors at $26 per pair.

With fall just around the corner, it’s time to make sure you have a reliable rain shell on hand. While waterproof capabilities are important, the breathability of a shell is what really separates a great one from the rest. The Refuge jacket features a 3-layer performance fabric with seam-taped joints to ensure rain protection. Its breathability rating exceeds 15,000g/m2/day, which is plenty to make it comfortable while riding, but it also provides extra-long vents to further prevent overheating on climbs. Setting your wallet back $279, it’s available in both red and black.

There are surely many more, but two situations come to mind where this self-contained shower would be really helpful. Either you’ve ridden all afternoon and have to go straight to a family dinner or you’re out riding all weekend and need a way to clean off the sweat backat camp. With its 3-gallon capacity, it holds an ample amount of water to take a couple of showers using the 6-foot hose. Not a fan of cold showers? It comes with a 10,000 BTU heater that burns propane and heats the water to around 100-degrees in 5-10 minutes. The stainless steel container is pressurized with about 20 pumps and also provides a thermometer display on the side to make sure the water is a safe temperature. Hot showers will be had right off the back of your pickup for $180. Storage bag included. Zodi Outback Gear
