ODI CF V2.1 LOCK-ON GRIP REVIEW
Tech features:
Mountain bike grips have come a long way from the rubber sleeves we would once have to slide on using alcohol and a syringe. ODI’s CF V2.1 lock-on grips feature a new single clamp, version 2.1 lock-on system, activated with a 3mm Allen key. Inverted finger cutouts to provide extra grip, louvered inside palm sections for added cushion and a precision-engraved pattern to give the rider the best feedback and control are all cut into the proprietary grip material. ODI has also designed carbon-reinforced ends to help prevent blowouts.
Field test results:
With over two years of development poured into the making of the ODI CF V2.1 grips, we might expect an exceptional-feeling, long-lasting and comfortable grip. We’re pleased to say that’s exactly what we got. After a short break-in period, we found the grips to be very comfortable with just the right amount of suppleness without being too squishy or becoming gooey. We’d have loved the option of a smaller-diameter grip, but it only comes in the medium diameter, which some of our testers found slightly too big for their smaller hands.
