Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence cut the ribbon at the opening of the bike park this past weekend. The 300-acre park was named after Sgt. Dale Griffin, who was killed while serving the U.S. in Afghanistan in 2009. Griffin used to love to ride his bike through the park when he was a kid, according to his parents, who attended the facility’s opening. Mywabashcounty.com said in a story about the park’s opening, “It is without a doubt one of the finest biking facilities of its kind in the country.  300 acres of rolling Indiana woodlands that has been transformed into a biking Mecca.”   (Photo: Scott McClain/Called to Creation)
