A great on-the-bike tool and storage option.

PIVOT PHOENIX DOCK NINJA TOOL BOX MINI 20 PRO REVIEW – STEALTH ON THE BIKE TOOL

Tech features:

Small but mighty, Pivot’s Phoenix Dock Ninja Tool Box Mini 20 Pro is packed with useful features. The case itself is made of a lightweight polymer that is claimed to be weatherproof and docks to any standard water bottle mount with the same hardware. The case rotates 90 degrees for easy access to the tool inside. Once you’ve released the secure latch mechanism and pulled the tool out, you have 23 tool functions, including chain tools, a full Allen key set, a tire lever, the all-important bottle opener and more.

Field test results:

Let’s just start by saying we love this design. There are a lot of bikes that have an extra bottle mount or two that may not have enough room for a bottle, but plenty of room for a small storage device. The fact it rotates 90 degrees for ease of access to the tool is also great and the latch mechanism didn’t budge even in the heaviest chatter. The tool inside is wrapped in a wide rubber band to prevent rattle noise and fits perfectly inside the case, so no noise was heard at any time. The Topeak Mini 20 Pro multi-tool itself is fantastic with all the functions you may need from breaking a chain to removing a tire. If you have a spare bottle mount and don’t want to worry about carrying a pack, this is an excellent option.
