Riding Aspen’s Newest Trail: Rude Awakening with Richie Rude

Aspen Snowmass and the Snowmass Bike Park announce a new expert trail scheduled to open to the public this Friday, Aug. 11, weather permitting. The new trail (name TBD), that was designed in collaboration with Gravity Logic and constructed under the leadership of Snowmass Trails Manager Yannick Rioux, has an instant pedigree as a gravity racing classic after debuting as part of Stage Four of the Big Mountain Enduro World Series in Snowmass. The physical and technically demanding trail challenged the best riders across its 1.9 miles and nearly 1,400 feet of descent.
