ROCKWELL, DUPOUEY AND HOYDAHL INK WITH GIANT AGAIN

While the mountain bike race world abounds with rumors of diminishing teams, Giant Bicycles has announced its own moves to confirm their support of the sport. Myles Rockwell, the current downhill World Champion, has agreed to ride for Giant in 2001 and 02 along with continuing Giant cross-country athletes Dominique Arnould, Christophe Dupouey, Thomas Hochstrasser, and Rune Hoydahl.

Rockwell stunned the mountain bike world last June when he won the World Championship title, unseating Nicholas Vouilloz, the Frenchman who has been wearing a World Champions jersey for 8 consecutive years. With his stellar win in Spain, Rockwell brings a mountain bike World Championship title back to the USA.
