SoBe Adrenaline Rush vs. RedBull

Just thought we?d do a quick review and comparison of two of our favorite energy drinks. SoBe Adrenaline Rush tastes great, kind of like grapefruit juice and gingerale. Our test supply quickly became a morning favorite. RedBull has a unique taste, something like liquid Smartees. But it has this weird aftertaste going on that leaves an orange film on your tongue. It also packed more of a kick than the SoBe. It’s effects felt like a cup of coffee without all of the jittery action. Both drinks cost about two-dollars, come in the same can and support mountain bike efforts. They both make great coffee substitutes before a tough ride or race. Serious riders know that you can?t risk the dehydrating properties of coffee all of the time. If you?re like half of the MBA staff, you need something in the morning to get you to the trailhead. We suggest that you try them both. They have different effects and way different tastes. We?ll keep using both of them until we run out. Don?t get us wrong we still love our old friend caffeine but these give us two more morning and late night choices.
