WORLD CUP XCO RESULTS FROM ALBSTADT, GERMANY, MAY 8, 2022

It looks like Nino Schurter has a serious challenger this year, as Olympic champion Thomas Pidcock looks to be the strongest racer in the men’s ranks right now. Nino needs only one more victory to surpass Julien Absalon on the all-time win list for XCO World Cups. We expect he’ll get it sooner or later, but he didn’t get it this weekend. Meanwhile, Rebecca McConnell is looking like she’s the woman to beat this year, as she’s now won the first two World Cup XCO races of the year.
