The Enduro World Series (EWS) today announces its 2022 Qualifier Calendar – featuring an unprecedented 29 National Championships and 60 events in total across 38 different countries.

Racing kicks off in the USA in March with events then rolling throughout the year and taking in locations across six continents before finishing in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean in November. Further races will also be added throughout the year.

EWS Qualifiers offer riders the opportunity to participate in events close to home, whilst also earning crucial Global Ranking Points that can add up to a coveted place in the main EWS races. The events are an ideal proving ground for up-and-coming athletes who have their eyes on an EWS career, allowing them a clear pathway to reaching the highest echelons of the sport. The ranking points will also be used for the selections for the Trophy of Nations UCI Championship team race in Finale Ligure at the end of the season.

The 29 National Championships that have been added to the 2022 calendar will ensure the highest national accolades are recognized in the EWS Qualifying structure, as well as supporting those national federations that are working hard to push the sport forward.

Ruaridh Cunningham, Director of Sport at the Enduro World Series, said: “We’re proud to be engaging with racing from the grassroots level right the way through to national championships, these events are crucial to the health of the sport.

“The last two years have been difficult for everyone, with so many events canceled and opportunities for racing so limited, it’s great to see so many events pushing ahead and providing a platform for riders again. To see 38 countries on this year’s calendar is incredible and shows just what a reach enduro now has.”

Here are the events that are currently scheduled to be held in the U.S.:

Tennessee National Windrock (USA) Oak Ridge, TN 9 March 2022

North American Enduro Cup (USA) Kellogg, ID 11 June 2022

Eastern States Cup Sugarloaf (USA) Sugarloaf, ME 26 June 2022

USAC National Championships (USA) Winter Park, CO 18 July 2022

California Enduro Series Northstar (USA) Northstar, CA 27 August 2022
