The Pivot 429 Trail

Pivot initially released the 429 Trail as a lightweight trail bike that could handle long days in the saddle and more technical terrain.

Moving forward, Pivot made some rolling changes to keep up with the demands of the modern rider. The 429 Trail was fairly dialed from the beginning, but in 2017 received a new rear triangle utilizing an entirely new mold. The new rear triangle is quite a bit stiffer than the previous one and creates a more responsive ride. Pivot updated the lower pivot with a link that is 30% wider. Along with the changes to the rear triangle is an updated Fox EVOL shock and tune. There are plenty of build options currently available with the 429 Trail.
