Mountain e-Bike Race Series
Is Coming To Town
The annual Quick n Dirty race series is adding electric bike racing to its 3 race days, scheduled for November 7, 14 and 21 at Barona MX track in Lakeside, CA. Class 1 (20 mph, pedal-assist) bikes only are permitted to race. To ensure fairness, the first five finishers in each race will have their bikes inspected.
Racers will do laps on the event’s three-mile course. Demo bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pro finishers may be eligible to recoup their entry fees. COVID mandates will also be enforced.
The title sponsor for the event is Mazda, and other sponsors include Specialized, Monster Hydro, Sierra Nevada, Squadra, Shimano, Hammer Nutrition, RB Components, Haro, Maxima, Pedal Industries, Sock Guy, Giant and 100%.
We’re planning on going, we might even race! Come out and join us if you’re in SoCal. The track is located at 1800 Wildcat Canyon Rd. in Lakeside, California.
Mountain Bike Action is a monthly magazine devoted to all things mountain biking (yes, that’s 12 times a year because we never take a month off of mountain biking). It has been around since 1986 and we’re still having fun.
