THROWBACK THURSDAY: CEDRIC GRACIA IN 2001

Cedric was one of the top riders in the world for years

We were digging through our slide files and found this shot of France’s Cedric Gracia from Mt. Snow, Vermont, in August of 2001.

Cedric was one of the top riders in the world in both downhill and dual slalom in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He also won the Red Bull Rampage in 2003.  It’s hard to beat those kinds of credentials. Like many of the top European riders of his day, he used to compete in the U.S. on a regular basis. He won three downhill World Cup races in his racing career and twice finished second overall in the World Cup Downhill series. He was also one of the world’s top riders in the UCI’s Dual Slalom, Dual and Four-cross competitions.
