Tip of the Day: Riding in Fog

As winter approaches, so does mucky weather, along with tacky trails.  Of course, sometimes those trails can get a bit too sloppy, which makes it especially important to have optimal visual clarity.

If the clouds are out in force, switch to eye protection with clear lenses.  This will make a huge difference in the amount of detail you can see and will help with your line choices.  Tinted lenses can make things look too dark in heavy cloud cover—especially under the trees—reducing your ability to read the trail and increasing the likelihood of a crash.
