For a country renowned for its waterways, dikes, windmills and cheese finding good mountain bike trails in The Netherlands might seem an illusion. With 50% of its lands under sea level and the highest peak at a mere 322 meters, the tiny country houses a treasure cove of high-quality mountain bike trails one would never expect to find.
Today we can safely say The Netherlands has some incredible mountain bike trails on which any mountain biker will be able to enjoy him/her self. The way tracks have either been altered or created ensures the future of mountain biking in The Netherlands will be bright. It just shows you what can be accomplished when you take the effort, think outside of the box and simply put in the work.
