“Trail Mix” is our selection of the best photos sent to us by riders from all over the world. Every month we love sifting through the photos of riders out on the trail doing what they love—enjoying this awesome sport. If you’d like to see your photo in the pages of MBA or on our website, you can submit them by following the directions at the end. Happy trails!
MY WILSON RIDE
Hulk-arming my bike on a trip down Mount Wilson just outside Pasadena, California. It’s one of the best trails in the SoCal area for gravity-fed or even XC riding. As you can tell from the pic, I like the downhill stuff a little better. Also, check out the Mount Wilson Bicycling Association – MWBA

FAT SUPERMOON RIDE
I’ve been a roadie for over 40 years, and my wife and I got into mountain biking a few years ago. We own full-suspension trail-bikes, along with the Farleys, and rarely ride our road bikes now. Something about being in the woods on our bikes just energizes us!
In this picture we took our beloved Trek Farleys out for a chilly fall trail ride at the Douglas State Forest in Massachusetts. At the end of the ride, just before sunset, we were greeted with a spectacular supermoon over the Douglas Reservoir.

KEEP ON TRUCKIN’
A shout-out of thanks to those restoring water and the restroom facilities at Henninger Flats! This was taken in the early morning. My tip to those wanting to ride into their 60s and beyond: heed the warning signs but keep on truckin’!
This is me sending a huge road gap some kid built. I have been eyeing it for some time and finally sent it. It was such a great feeling!
