Trail Mix

“Trail Mix” is our selection of the best photos sent to us by riders from all over the world. Every month we love sifting through the photos of riders out on the trail doing what they do best—enjoying this awesome sport. If you’d like to see your photo in the pages of MBA, you can submit them by following the directions at the end. Happy trails!

Top of the World

I’m just a 13-year-old girl loving the ride. This is the beginning of the awesome descent I took down from Top of the World in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. The trails out here are one of a kind, with technical trails for miles as well as some super-wicked flow trails!

Middle-Age Dads

I am age 63 and reside in Rancho Mission Viejo, California. We have a core group of middle-aged dads that regularly enjoy the many South Orange County cross-country trails that we are fortunate to live near. This pic was taken in January of this year on the Motorway trail, which is a fun three-mile-long singletrack downhill that drops about 1800 feet from the Main Divide in the Santa Anas down to the Maple Springs Gate. Drew Anastasio is a strong rider with a good sense of humor who keeps active by both biking and kayaking almost daily. And when he is not doing that, he may be found hiking the local trails with his wife Cyndy.

Mammoth Bike Park

This picture shows me at Mammoth Bike Park. I am 11 years old, and I’m sending an 8-foot kicker on a double-black jump line called Pipeline. I am on my new Canyon Spectral AL 6.0 and having a blast. I was with my brother and a buddy of mine. I avidly read your magazine and get lots of inspiration from it. Keep doing what you are doing!
