Trail Testing: Norco Sight Carbon 7.2

We are always looking for good trail bikes and the Norco Sight C 7.2 is quickly meeting all the requirements we at Mountain Bike Action look for in a fast, fun bike.  So far we have enjoyed a few rides on the Sight and aren’t upset that we get to keep riding it.

The carbon frame has kept the overall weight down and made it a surprisingly decent climbing machine.  The descents have been fast and fun with the 140mm Rockshox Pike and aggressive Schwalbe Magic Mary tire in the front.  A Cane Creek DB Inline and Hans Dampf are keeping the back end of the bike rooted over technical sections.  One of the smaller, but effective touches we’ve liked most on the build is the e*thirteen XCX Chainguide.  It’s rare to see bikes coming stock with a chainguide these days, even with the narrow-wide chainring its nice to have a little insurance policy.  The short stem has given the bike a very upright feel and made the geometry pretty comfortable.  No doubts, we are going to have fun on this machine.
