Skills: A quick and easy one is to practice your balance by seeing how slowly you can ride your driveway. Next, work on your cornering. Set up an obstacle course in your driveway or a parking lot. If you don’t have cones, use rocks or even tools from your garage and make a cornering obstacle course. Practice bike/body separation, going into the corner at different speeds, looking through the corner, and braking before the corner. For an extra challenge, you can put the cornering cues tighter together or even create a sharper turn. You can also practice wheelies. How many pedal strokes can you get in a row?
