First Ride – Trek Full Stashe

Introducing Full Stache

Trek has unveiled an all-new trail bike with 130mm of front and rear suspension travel and other unique design elements that take the capability of 29 Plus tires to the next level. It’s built for riders looking to tackle rugged trails on epic backcountry adventures, and it speaks to those with a thirst for exploration and something a little different.

Full Stache’s unusual appearance reveals the clever engineering required to maintain fun and nimble handling with such large tires and 130mm of rear travel. The new suspension layout is optimized for 29 Plus tire clearance and pedaling efficiency while an elevated and shaped chainstay provides additional drive-side clearance. That extra clearance allows for extra-short 430mm chainstays that make Full Stache feel astonishingly agile.

The frame features the full range of proven Trek technologies including Active Braking Pivot, Mino Link adjustable geometry, Control Freak internal routing, and Straight Shot downtube with Knock Block frame protection for an ultra-stiff and sure-footed ride.

Full Stache is offered as a single model with a robust spec package including a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain, RockShox Pike fork, and a Fox Float shock with Trek’s exclusive RE:aktiv damper. All-new Bontrager XR4 29×3˝ tires with aggressive tread and tough sidewalls match the bike’s bold demeanor.

With Full Stache, Trek once again brings unmatched technical development to the emerging adventure bike category. It’s a little out there, and that’s exactly the idea.

Full Stache is available immediately at and Trek’s global network of retailers.
