EDEN, UTAH (June 20, 2022) 一 On Thursday, July 14, Powder Mountain, located in the
Wasatch Mountains of Eden, Utah, will unveil its new lift-served bike park, coined “Dirt
Mountain,” part of a five-year expansion project that enhances on-mountain offerings year
round.

Utah’s beloved “uncrowded, unspoiled” ski resort has been working to expand its seasonal
recreation offerings for guests seeking outdoor thrill adventures. Each spring, summer and fall,
bikers have made their way to the mountain to ride Powder’s existing free cross-country trails
and after seeing an increased demand for more offerings, Powder Mountain has been working
on developing lift-accessed downhill mountain biking.

“Powder Mountain is excited to roll out this next phase of the resort and offer unparalleled year-
round access,” said JP Goulet, Director of Marketing and Base Operations at Powder Mountain.
“To maintain our philosophy on guest experience, we will be capping lift tickets as we do during
ski season, to ensure riders get the most out of their time on the mountain. As the mountain
biking industry continues to grow, we are thrilled to offer lift-accessed and cross-country
mountain bike trails high above the Eden Valley in Utah.”

During the inaugural season, lift access at Dirt Mountain will offer flow trails with technical trails
to follow. The Hidden Lake lift will spin Thursday-Sunday and provide access to downhill trails
over 3 miles long, with a 1,268 foot vertical drop. The elevation at the top of the lift is 8,879 feet
and 7,634 feet at the bottom. As part of a greater five year expansion plan, Dirt Mountain will be
developing two to five trails each summer.

In addition to downhill trails, there are XC/Multi-Use trails which can be accessed for free at Dirt
Mountain. The 30+ miles of public access singletrack is adjacent to ride-in, ride-out lodging,
which makes for an easy bike-centric getaway. XC trails are open sunrise to sunset, seven days
a week.
