America’s Asa Vermette Goes Fastest in Seeding Runs at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania

You can watch the finals live, later today, on Red Bull TV

America’s Asa Vermette set the fastest time—3 minutes, 19.176 seconds— in the seeding runs yesterday at the Red Bull Hardline event in Tasmania.

Vermette  beat the second fastest rider, Ronan Dunne, by less than 1/10th of a second on the course, with Jackson Goldstone clocking in as the third fastest rider of the day, 3.001 seconds slower than Asa Vermette.

Asa Vermette is riding for the U.S. brand, Frameworks Bikes, with Neko Mullaly as the team manager.

Canada’s Gracey Hemstreet was the fastest woman with a time of 4 minutes, 2.576 seconds in her seeding run. Erice van Leuven was second, with a gap of 33.113 seconds between them. Gracey’s top time among the women would have put her in 21st place in the men’s seeding runs.

The finals of the event are scheduled to be shown on Red Bull TV at 4 p.m. Friday in the Eastern U.S. and 7 p.m. Friday in the Western U.S.
