Here’s the news release from Cannondale:
As the XC World Cup season kicks off, we’re excited to unveil Cannondale Factory Racing’s new team kit and bike. The new kit will be available to order through your local Shimano retailer later this summer. We’ll also be offering a limited-edition LAB71 Team Edition Scalpel, including color-matched Lefty and CFR sponsor components later this season.

Wilton, Connecticut, USA— The 2025 Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World Series is
kicking off, and the most elite teams and athletes from around the globe are ready to put their
pre-season tuning and training to the test in Araxá – Minas Gerais, Brazil. One of the fan favorites
in the Cross-Country paddock is (okay – we are a bit biased) Cannondale Factory Racing.
The CFR roster of racers is led by Charlie Aldridge, who returns hungry to add more podiums to his
resume in 2025.

New to the team, but not the hearts of the race fans around the globe, is former
Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion, Jolanda Neff.
Jolanda Neff.
Neff is one of the most recognizable personalities in the sport and is already proving at home aboard her Lefty® equipped Scalpel race bike, capturing a number of pre-season race wins.
Also joining this year is the next generation of CFR, with U23 powerhouses Luca Martin, Ana Santos and Cole Punchard, all poised to continue to make a name for themselves and Cannondale.

With an excitingly fresh, reset, roster to start the season, we set out to make our athletes
stand out on course and atop the podium with an all-new kit and bike livery. Developed in-house by
Ryan Chung’s Brand Design team, the new design harnesses the raw beauty of carbon as its base,
overlain by striking orange and green accents that tie the frame, fork, and race kit together, while
keeping total bike weight to that absolute minimum we’re famous for. The Shimano Gear S-Phyre
kit carries the same performance-first approach. White panels on the upper areas of the jersey
deliver maximum heat reflection to keep riders cool when it matters, while graphic elements
interface flawlessly with the vibe of the bike to ensure there’s no mistaking CFR property in the
pits and on the course.
The new S-Phyre CFR Team Replica kit will be available to order through your local Shimano
retailer later this summer. And, because we believe there’s never too much of a good thing, the
complete race-replica LAB71 Team Edition Scalpel, including color-matched Lefty and CFR
sponsor components, will be available in limited quantities this season too. So stay tuned to our
socials and sign up for our newsletter to be the first in the know!
