Lest we forget that as much as Thomas Frischknecht‘s winning ways were the result of his natural talent, the victories can also be attributed to the lightweight steel bikes designed and built by Tom Ritchey. More than just a designer/builder, Tom was a racer as seen here competing at the 1985 NORBA Nationals aboard one of his own bikes.
