The redesigned @ridefoxbike 36 and 36 SL have arrived 👀

The biggest update to the long-standing 36 fork is the all-new Float Glidecore air spring, which features a floating air core that sits on a set of elastomer rings and seperates the stanchion from the air shaft to reduce friction and maintain smooth travel under side loads. The chassis has been redesigned to increase torsional stiffness and reduce weight, and there is now an additional 30mm of bushing overlap to further increase the stiffness and reduce friction. The internal air bypass channels have also been relocated further inboard on the lower legs to help improve small bump sensitivity, and the air spring top cap now uses a standard cassette tool 🔧

The 36 SL is the lightweight version of the fork and is aimed at trail bikes, claiming to be 20% stiffer compared to the Fox 34, which they achieved through an optimized crown and arch design. It also benefits from the new Float Glidecore air spring, updated internal bypass channels, and updated top cap.

The 36 is available in 140mm-160mm travel options, 27.5” or 29” wheels, and 200mm through 230mm rotor sizes, ranging in price from $749 to $1,199. It is available with Fox’s Grip, SL, X, or X2 dampers.
The 36 SL is available with 120mm-140mm travel options, is designed exclusively for 29” wheels, and supports 180mm through 203mm rotor sizes. It’s priced from $699 to $1,149 and is available with Fox’s Grip SL, X, or X2 dampers.
