Introducing The 2013 Transition Bikes Klunker

The Klunker in “Party in the Woods Matte Black”

Transition is taking their love of klunking, and fun in general, to a whole new level for 2013 by releasing a production Klunker in two color offerings. Sure, you might say that part of the fun of klunking is the bike build itself, but we appreciate anything that makes getting out on the  trail with your buddies one step easier. At $550, the fun-per-dollar rate is sure to be impressive.

From Transition:
Transition Bikes is proud to announce a giant step backwards with their latest bike. The Klunker features absolutely no technology and is in no way optimized. 4130 Chromoly, moto handlebar, DH tires and a coaster brake are all the features you need to rip your favorite trails or cruise downtown.

The Klunker in “Klunking Isn’t Free Eagle White”

Coming in at 32 lbs for the complete bike, the Klunker is incredibly lightweight for a Klunker. Another thing that is lightweight about the Klunker is the price at $549 for the complete bike. Two color options are available, Party in the Woods Matte Black and Klunking Isn’t Free Eagle White (with checkerboard toptube and crossbar pads).

“Klunking is making a huge comeback and is a great way to experience your local trails on a totally new level. Our Klunker is designed to ride out of the box without any modifications and is just as much fun riding trails as using it as your around town cruiser. Once you start Klunking, you can’t stop.” – Kevin Menard, Transition Bikes Owner
