We all need to stay hydrated, whether or not on the trail, at home, or at the office. Avex offers a few water bottles to help do just that. We were able to get our hands on the 24-ounce Autospout and 22-ounce Insulated Autospout water bottles, to check them out.
Tech features: One of the key features of these water bottles is their Autospout technology, which eliminates the need to pull on the mouthpiece with your teeth to get a drink. Just hit the Autospout button located on the lid of the water bottle, let the mouthpiece pop-up and squeeze the bottle. The spout automatically closes for a spill-free seal.
Field Test Results:
While a water bottle review may seem low-key to some, we couldn’t help but be impressed with how easy these water bottles were to use while out on the trail. The Autospout worked as advertised and the flip top helped keep dirt and grime away from the mouthpiece while the bottles were nestled in our cages. We never experienced any leaking from either the mouthpiece or the lid itself, which helped keep the bottle nice and clean. The ability to use the bottle one-handed without needing to extend a mouthpiece with our teeth, was awesome. This kept our minds fixed on the ride.
