Paul himself may not appreciate dropper posts, but he does make one heck of a dropper lever. For a guy who can make almost anything from a chunk of aluminum, proven by this dropper lever, it seems funny that he can’t remember to actually use it on the trail. It’s safe to say that the Paul Components Dropper Trigger is totally overbuilt, with two stacked sealed cartridge bearings, a hinged bar clamp and a barrel adjuster for the cable, all in a finely CNC-machined body and lever that allow the cable to be run from either direction. The Paul Dropper Trigger has no flex and a sizable thumbprint that is very ergonomic. It is machined in Chico, California, from 6061 aluminum and is available in polished aluminum, silver, black or limited purple-anodized (as tested). The Paul Dropper Trigger weighs 40 grams and will run you $90 (or $108 for the polished version).
