U.S. Open of MTB—Best Whip Contest

Updated: Video Added

With the sun starting to set, attendees gathered for the fan favorite event, the FOX U.S. Open of Mountain Biking’s Red Bull Whip Off contest presented by SPANK.

Instagram will load in the frontend.

More like a session of friends than an outright contest,  riders battled for respect, bragging rights and of course the podium. Allan Cooke came with the heat to take the win in the Pro category as Ryan Howard and Matt Sterling closed in on second and third.

Much like the USO Dual Slalom finals, the groms in the Junior Category stole the show with wild style and unbelievable whips and tricks, with Ryan Pinkerton taking the win ahead of FInley Kirschmeyer, on a hardtail with 24 inches wheels, and Dylan Meyers.
