Photo of the Day: Suicide No-Hander at Sunset

IMG_4469novfirst2004-1200 Digging through some old images we found this one from 2004. If memory serves us, this was Chris Van Dine, at day’s end at the Fourth Red Bull Rampage, in the fall of 2004. That was the year that a young Kyle Strait (then 17) won his first of two Rampage titles. Meanwhile, a young newcomer from Great Britain by the name of George “Gee” Atherton (then 19) took second place in the finals, after finishing first in both rounds of qualifiers at the event. Gee had won his first World Cup event the year before, so he was clearly a guy on the rise. Photo: JK/Mountain Bike Action
